GS Core
OÜ GS Core is a company in the group of the Swedish financial holding company Marginalen AB, which offers its partner’s claims assignment transactions. As a result, the debtors’ liabilities that have accumulated in the balance sheet are taken over. The group is headquartered in Sweden and has a history of almost 40 years.
The main area of activity of the Estonian business is the purchase of debt portfolios from companies in the energy, financial and telecommunications sectors for the purpose of out-of-court and judicial recovery of claims.
Marginalen is a privately-owned bank and financial services group with more than 850 employees in Sweden and the Baltics. The Group consists of:
- The subsidiary Marginalen Bank Bankaktiebolag (“Marginalen Bank”) which is regulated by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (“SFSA”) and subject to one of the highest capital requirement regimes in Europe
- eight subsidiaries in the Baltics that operate within consumer finance, debt collection and debt purchase, and Marginalen Financial Services that provides business development services within the Group and are regulated by the SFSA as part of the consolidated situation.
